8月5日，上汽集团与通用汽车签署战略续约协议，延长上汽通用汽车合资期限20年至2047年。
上汽通用合资合约签署于1995年10月31日，合资公司于1997年6月正式成立，原合约期限30年，将于2027年6月到期。据悉，未来，上汽通用将进一步发挥中国在用户洞察、研发、制造和供应链效率方面的优势，推动由中国定义、研发和制造的产品服务全球市场，使中国从全球技术的承接端，进一步成为创新策源地和全球供给端。
