蒋介石、蒋经国父子在台湾逝世后，灵柩暂厝于桃园慈湖、大溪“陵寝”。据台湾“中时新闻网”报道，岛内长期将前往两处瞻仰称为“谒灵”，“陵寝”“谒灵”等表述已沿用长达50年。但台防务部门上月低调发布公告，修正所谓“管理要点”，不仅将“谒灵”改为“入营”，同时删除“陵寝”一词，并改以“营区”概括全域，还将原“谒灵申请”调整为“灵柩区开放申请”。
