公开资料显示，王进喜，男，汉族，1968年2月出生于河南，1991年7月参加工作，中共党员，毕业于西南交通大学，硕士学位。
王进喜曾任哈尔滨铁路局党委书记、代局长，中国铁路哈尔滨局集团有限公司党委书记、董事长，中国铁路北京局集团有限公司党委书记、董事长，2023年出任国铁集团副总经理、党组成员。
