据中国驻阿富汗大使馆官网消息，2023年9月13日，新任驻阿富汗大使赵星向阿富汗临时政府代理总理阿洪德递交国书。同日，赵星大使向阿临时政府代理外长穆塔基递交国书副本。
赵星大使于9月8日抵阿履新。
公开资料显示，驻阿富汗特命全权大使赵星，男，汉族，1974年11月生，文学硕士，中共党员。赵星此前担任外交部国际司副司长。
