美国疾控中心14号发表报告，指出研究发现，在完全接种辉瑞或摩德纳新冠疫苗的医护人员中，有症状的感染者减少了94％。在部分接种疫苗的人群中，感染率降低了82％。研究中，将完全接种定义为：第二次接种后7天或更久；部分接种定义为：接种第一剂后14天至接种第二剂后六天 。
